For my brand, I selected “Shein” The company's brand is fast fashion. They are selling clothes that are manufactured in Beijing by underage children. A lot of people are saying that the fashion brand is exploiting young kids and forcing them to work all hours of the day in order to complete orders in a short period of time. The working conditions that are being placed on these young workers are terrible. Some sources are saying that they are working so hard and so often that their hands are bleeding. The thing that interested me about this brand was the aggressive claims that the business was running a sweatshop. This term is not used lightly, it includes terrible working conditions, long hours, and sometimes child exploitation.
